BBC Question Time, 24/11, from Bath
Discussion
Just been confirmed that I'm on. The panel consists of Chris Huhne, Dan Hannan, the CEO of Sainsbury's, the CEO of Wikipedia and some Labour bint I've never heard of.
Been asked to prepare two questions. The first will concern the revelations about Labour receiving 86 per cent of their funding from the unions, in return for pushing their policies. I haven't decided on the second yet. What would you ask?

Joining David in Bath this week: @DanHannanMEP; @ChrisHuhne; @leicesterliz; Justin King; and @jimmy_wales Thursday, 10.35pm, BBC1 #bbcqt
Labour MP is Liz Kendall: http://www.theyworkforyou.com/mp/liz_kendall/leice...Looking at that panel, it's going to be about Europe and the economy isn't it?
What about asking Chris Huhne if his wife can take some speeding points for me?
Custard Yellow shirt & tie is in order I think
(Question about Union funding good but needs to be put in context re %age of population that is actually in a union).
Other question possibly about real lifetime CO2 "savings" created (or not) by silly windfarms that don't work when the wind doesn't blow or when it blows to hard. i.e. Energy generated vs CO2 created during manufacture & installation

Keep the questions simple and don't have them point at one party only. I was on and I realised my questions were to heavy duty for them. Spent ages making them up as well. Plus it seems they fit the questions with the panel and latest affairs and tend not to cover ones from the previous weeks.

Please ask a business question.
E.g. has the UK become just a country of shopkeepers to sell imports and failed to make long term investment in R&D and manufacturing
Nah, too boring & we already know the answer (and the one that will be given!). We need a good question that will unravel a myth or a lie or two E.g. has the UK become just a country of shopkeepers to sell imports and failed to make long term investment in R&D and manufacturing

I'm leaning towards something like:
With the Eurozone in tatters and Germany establishing a more and more dominant position, can the panel explain exactly why we can't trade individually with European countries without being part of the failed superstate and seeing our economy dragged down by it.

This might be a better wordde question:With the Eurozone in tatters and Germany establishing a more and more dominant position, can the panel explain exactly why we can't trade individually with European countries without being part of a failed superstate and seeing our economy dragged down by it.
With the Eurozone in trouble and Germany establishing a more and more dominant position, can the panel explain exactly why we can't trade individually with European countries without being part of a potentially failing EU superstate
Or:
Can you settle an argument between Williamp and his wife: is it pronounced "baath" or "barrf".
Or:
The occupy group currenlty sprining up all over the UK. Why dont they establish their own political party and democratically work towards the change they want??
