I'm going Kev. I may possibly stay with family down that way and join a convoy starting from Guildford to save a couple of hours kip, depends if we have enough interest to run from up here.

I'm in a similar situation, hence the thread.

Anyone else from the area going?

I've put my name down, be good to meet up / drive down, i don't mind if it snows smile

Car is back to 550 bhp now and doesn't sound like a tractor as the pesky cyl3 coilpack has been sawn in half, torched and thrown in the bin.

Hope to see you guys there if nothing comes up at work before then,

Ah yes Mark, damn it, I should have sorted that by now smile
Maybe we could meet for a fry-up and mug of tea and you can take it for a spin?
Drop me a line and we can sort something out, car is going very well at the mo, just
a shame it was off form for that last run.

Cheers mate

I know it's boring but I am far too busy to have a look at a hoon route, fancy a motorway convoy down? Can make sure we take in the tunnel if you like?

Will try and get a look at a route tomorrow.

Chaps, I can modify the route we took to the Southampton Sunday Service. This would not include the A3 tunnel without a huge diversion. Starts just off of the M25/A3 junction. Do we have enough interest? Can convoy down from our usual Hertfordshire location but would be a 6am~ish start.

We're going to Goodwood and I think you can count us in for a jaunt down, whether it's in 2x MR2s or 1x Audi remains to be seen...

I'm heading down, ideally leaving Teddington at 6.15 with a view to meeting a couple of other MX5's at Chichester McDonalds at 8am.

I will swing by your meeting point and possibly convoy down. Will be in a little black MX-5 with the roof down and frozen driver!

Mine's currently in having the exhaust welded (again!) so all being well i should be good to go by Sunday.

Hardtop will be staying on though, heaters are on the blink.

Where are we meeting? I'm not particularly bothered about a hoon all the way down there and based on Garlick's advice i'm not looking to be up at 6am either - I think we should aim to get there around 9.30?

If we are aiming for 09:30 I guess that means leaving the start point at 08:00 - ish. We live 45 minutes away from the start point, does that work with you mate?

JamesHayward, I think our timings may be out slightly! See you down there.

No worries!

By the way, I WILL be returning via the Hindhead tunnel. It's not been christened by the MG yet!

Me and the old man are popping down.

Wouldn't mind meeting if the starting point is not too far away.

Not sure why you chaps want to get down for bang on 9... all you'll be doing is queuing. Probably be best to get there for around 10 I would have thought considering the amount of cars turning up this time?
