What Cars Have GOOD Sports Seats With TILT Facility ?
Discussion
Hi guys I'm upgrading an RX7 and I want to sit lower and have some sportier seats.
Without thinking I bought a set of VX220 ones which are perfect EXCEPT they don't tilt which as I put my kids in the back is a bit of a problem.
So which cars DO tilt - I was surprised to see Boxster ones seem to but I'd rather find something closer to Elise / VX220 type.
Thanks

Recaro Sportster CS - as fitted in most hot hatches and a load of other stuff. See Focus RS, Clio RS, R20 Golf and a load of others I can't remember.
Perfect - except for the price of £950 each new and used ones seem to go for a similar amount.

The S2000 ones do tilt, quite small though. Not sure if its the style you're after?
Do they ?EDIT - Google says they do but not very much.
I'll have to take a look at them. I'd prefer less padding (like the VX220) but it seems the Recaro suggested earlier is the closest option.

Unless you are some sort of freak you only have one bottom
Drivers side non tilting
Passenger side cheap tilting seat
Strangely I want my car to be like 99.9% of other cars and have matching front seats.Drivers side non tilting
Passenger side cheap tilting seat
Also there's bugger all room in an RX7 so really you need to get in each rear seat from each side.
The seats in the EP3 Civic Type R slide right forward and then tilt to give you access to the back. However, it resets the position of the seat when you click it back upright, so you have to readjust your distance from the wheel and get the angle of the seatback right again. It's a bit of a pain in the arse, so I never let anyone move mine - on the rare ocassions I have more than one passenger, they get in the passenger side.

OR theres the option of the newer FN2's which are close to recaro design. The resetting of the position royally does my tits in though!SB10 said:

They recline forward just over 30cm from my driving position.EDIT - Google says they do but not very much.
