Put a deposit down on the new Jaguar CX16?

I am very tempted as i think it looks awesome. The only thing stopping me is the thought of an 'R' version or a V8 version coming down the line

For those that dont know here are some pics http://www.jaguar.com/gb/en/_misc/cx16_white_gallery

And the specs are as follows
3l v6 supercharged.
1600kg
50/50 weight distribution
0-60 4.4

Not at all, looks such a great car, the write up in evo a month or two ago was very interesting.

However there is 'being the test dummy' to consider with it being a brand new car and as you say it might be best to wait for the mk2, facelifted or R version.

Yes, and also the thought of what they might change before production. I have been told the wheels will be the same design but smaller, and that you can spec a 6 speed manual instead of the 8 speed auto. It would depend how good the changes on the auto are really!

I dont think id enjoy buying one and then seeing hundreds of them on the road though

An 'R' version of that car would be awesome!.
