You're broke, skint yet you keep talking up an invasion of Iran and pressing ahead with installing missiles on the Russian border.......why? why can't you just take care of business at home or am I about to be scalped by a large parrot?

I also find this whole thing bizzarre - 15 Trillion dollars in debt and growning at an alarming rate - yet we can go to war with the rest of the middle east and whoever else wants it...Im starting to wonder if they know something we dont?

They spend less than 5% of GDP on military.

Germany about 2%.

Without having Jimbeaux on my case -

The Yanks love a good war.

They borrow money off the Federal Reserve, go to war, spend loads on US War Equipment, steal loads of natural resources and get the contracts to rebuild the place they have just destroyed.

Great business model, been working for donkeys years.

A 1.3% drop since 1988 in GDP terms for the UK, and look at our capabilities now. An indication of how much implementation costs have risen. The 'Bang for your Buck' has certainly diminished!

We have a lot of oil right here. maybe we want to use theirs first. Who knows. The "broke", "skint", etc is more complex than that. In reality, everyone, Chinese included, are sailing in the same big boat. The misslies are actually for a European defense system.

The game of Strategy is a very complex one.

What natural resources have we stolen? We could have taken Iraqi oil but did not. We bid on it and lost quite a bit IIRC. I think we may have nicked a few truckloads of sand from the Stan, but the guy in the third tent from the left said we could.

So like expectancy in the UK is 80 years. So if you take off Scotland that means the rest of us will live forever.

I like that website.

Jimbeaux, although it is sold as a European Defense System, it actually isn't. It's a method of keeping the war away from the US mainland, the defense of Europe is and always was a very secondary argument to US defense policy. I know I served long enough (22 yrs) to see US colonial attitudes to and in the European (and other) theatres!!!
I have great respect for the US, but their present attitude, and since the mid 50s, has often been very much worse than Britains colonial attitude in the 17th, 18th and 19th century, when the map of the world was mostly pink..... (all GB dependancies, colonies etc were marked pink on all maps then, in case you didn't know)
Neither we nor the US needs to be a global policeman, if the fuzzywuzzies want to chop each other up, let them....why should our boys lives be put on the line because of the global greed of bLIAR, Bush and other such evil entities???

I'm surprised the word "terrorist" hasn't been used yet.

Also surprised that nobody's been accused of wearing a tin foil hat for daring to suggest that anyone could go to war over oil. whistle
