Is there anything in particular to look out for on one of the above models, never owned a land rover before, so could do with a bit of advice.
Thanx.

ACE playing up.

Suspension air bags needing to be replaced.

Rot around the back end (unusual this late on).

Using water/overheating/rythmic knocking from the engine that doesn't go away when hot (possible signs of a slipped liner).

Dip the autobox oil make sure it's nice and red, not black and smelling burnt.

Steering box leaking.

Check that it runs and switches to and from LPG without issue.

Look up "3 Amigos" on the net.

Look for signs of water ingress from sun roofs. Comes out around the interior light and from the sun visor fixings, usually as you take a corner, and drowns you. Headlining out to fix the pipes back onto the sunroof drains.
