Anything over 350 is pointless in a FWD car.

I have 250 in my FWD car and it still lights up very easily.

When I had my RS I too went for a spin in a tuned RS nudging 420bhp. It made my standard car feel quite slow. It had some sticky Toyos on and put its power down surprisingly well. I agree a 4wd version would be great, although that would make it even heavier.

Pumaspeed do have a reputation for building high power RS models. They ave a 466hp Focus RS demo car, dyno prints can be seen on their website.

How do you strangle a vertical wave of water running contrary to the flow of a river? Or is this some PH poster? wink

Physics dictates rearward weight transfer under acceleration. With more wheel torque, adhesion becomes a problem especially on low-mu surfaces. Just driving the correct axle (ie rear) does a great deal to overcome this problem (like BMW - not Mini) without resorting to 4wd. Even RevoKnuckle and a progressive Quaife LSD can't resolve limitations of front wheel drive whistle
