What a sound that car makes. A very nice bit of kit. I thought my car from 60 to 70 was fun but slightly jealous.

Anyone had a spin in one ? Practical car too all the doors for the family enough room for surfboards on the roof.

I had a blast in one. It was insanely quick and a real licence destroyer.

By comparsion my dad has a C180K saloon and it was slow, but slower to the filling station though.

Drove one at Mercedes Benz World for an hour on their track...lovely. Abilities far beyond mine so I only got to see a little of what it could do, but accelarating on the straight upto about 85mph was amazing. My car would probably reach about 45 in the same distance.

I must be the only one that wasn't impressed by the performance of one!

I drove one of the very early ones, so no performance pack etc, so maybe that was why, but the car felt slow (compared to my 997 turbo, and more importantly compared to my previous E55 AMG) and also very wallowy performance.

I haven't driven a more recent one however so can't comment.

They do however sound absolutely sublime!

Took one for a test drive about 3 weeks ago, Jolly fast and a nice place to be.

14MPG (or 50 of your English pence, per mile) made me think that a visit to my parents would cost £ 110.00 in fuel - that has made my RS4 seem much nicer again.......

Excuse the not-so-excellent photo. The guy taking it had been out in the back and was still shaking! The sound was unbelievable down Cheddar Gorge that day, especially mixed with the sound of RS Aizawa MX5 and MR2 also pictured

And to add my opinion, it felt brutal! More muscle car like than European sports tourer.
