Some hate it some love it

I love it but think they should be made to follow their charter of being unbiased

Oh and poll has multiple options

It seems I voted for the three most popular option as of now - make them follow their charter (no chance whilst politicians are involved) and kill or gag certain presenters - again not going to happen but I'm sure I recall a time when the BBC was the pride of the country and not a we to celebrity and Marxism.

That's not fair you can't make me choose between Moyles and Vine, I hate them both!

I think you could have added another option...

I will pay for programmes like Planet Earth, Frozen Planet, F1, Radio 4 but not for st like Chris Moyles and Jerkmy Pyle!

Privatise it, noone would care what crap they'd spout and you wouldn't have to pay that communist licence fee. They'd go bust unless they changed.

I think the BBC is one of the greatest things about this country.

I think the bias needs addressing, and I think it should be reduced/made efficient enough to be £99 a year for the next few years. If it did that, it would gain a lot more support.

I'd like to see a full audit of the BBC, and someone from the private sector sort it out.

Cough. Splutter. Not a BBC employee by any chance ?

I'd happily have a few adverts on the BBC if it mean not
having to pay the £150 a year telly tax.

Am I correct in thinking that the UK is the only, or one
of very very few, countries in the world to tax telly watching ?

How very East Germany 1965.

Not at all! I've seen television in other countries, and it's rubbish. If you want rubbish on TV, go for it, but tell me where do they produce programmes that are sold to our market? The last French TV programme we got over here that I remember was Jacques Cousteau. I suspect that we've sold many dozens to the French, and others, since then.

It's a shame that you've got such a cynical view to think that I might work for the BBC. There are many aspects of the BBC that I deeply, deeply despise, the Balen Report being one outstanding example.

No. You're very wrong. Many countries have a license.

How very Sweden 2011.

Good TV gets shown all over the world. That's the nature of today's media, and the BBC does that better than anyone.

Privatise it and let them strike . . . then watch as they struggle to compete with the rest of the media and maybe, in 6-8 years, we might get a better, slimmer, more active media service.

Ireland has a tv tax as well, 160 euro per year. RTE is pretty ste,at least the BBC makes some good programmes like frozen planet and top gear amongst a few.

... whereas there are commercial stations that I would pay for, if they were free of adverts and I was given the opportunity to do so.
