Hi

If I notify the DVLA of a change in chassis & engine regardless of changes to what happens with them with VIN / chassis number what does the new V5 issued state. I'm interested in it still showing that I have owned the car since I first purchased it and don't want it to look like I have only just purchased the car. Does anyone know whether it is just a reissued V5 with same details and change of required numbers or what?

Any info appreciated thanks

I thought if you changed the chassis, technically it is a different car/number plate...

Engine makes no difference to existing chassis though.

so its only the bodywork, wheels, susp. and brakes that are still retained?

So you are planning to change all the parts from one chassis to another and have bought a brand new chassis and engine?
