Exporting to USA

Hey all
My brother is going to work in New York for 8 months next year. Hes looked at taking his car with him, 2003 Focus RS, he got a quote of £885 for shipping from UK to New York, and after looking online has found there is no import charge if the car leaves again within 12 months, so thats fine.
Only thing left to work out is Insurance. Are there companies who specialise in this sort of thing? Has anyone done something similar before?
