Found these while trawling flea-bay, originally via the 'wheelies' outlet seller. Anyone got an opinion on them. They seem to be a good idea, IMHO, not sure about how the http://www.velominati.com/blog/the-rules/ will feel about them, but I suspect a rule will be added banning them for aesthetic reasons, or just because! I like the idea of a bit of extra lighting, especially with christmas coming wink, but I fear ridicule from the assembled masses, and the idea of a flashing LED 'indicator' just seems a bit, well, 'friend of Dorothy'. I ask, as I am about to order some Conti GP 4season tyres/tubes from wiggle, and added this light set to my basket, only to find that they are currently out of stock. I'm going for the tyre/tube combo offer, using the 'extra-10' voucher code, but if the lights won't arrive soon anyway, I might wait until money is less tight. I've lots of lights on the bike anyway, but I need the tyres to replace the worn-out Schwalbe Ultremos currently on the bike.

I cant see them offering much to be honest, the rear facing lights will be blocked by your legs and the front facing lights look be too low to be much use and will get lost in the other lights on the road.

i saw a guy with fluorescent bar tape which he had wrapped around the seat stays the other day, it was quite effective and i thought it was a pretty good idea.
