Can a 986 3 button remote key be reprogramed, for example if I got hold of a second hand key got a new blade cut can the remote be reprogramed ?

Did all this with my 996 got secondhand key fob had a new blade recut went to my very good local indy asked them to reprogram the key they said you can't do it. So bought a new head unit off them for £85 plus vat & they reprogrammed it for free no problem. Hope this helps.

Hi, no it can not be reprogrammed with out the white paper key code on it which is thrown away when the keys are coded on to the system.

Sorry. You can do cayenne and 997 keys.
