Detailed route planning for sat nav

I need to get a specific driving route onto sat nav, probably tomtom. I know the route I want and need it programmed in. It has many waypoints and/or stop points which is where the problem lies, as I believe (yet to find out for sure) Tomtom route planning will only let you add a few??

Are there any other options to get a detailed route onto a sat nav?

I think you can plan the route in google and use some software to import it into TomTom.

Ask on some of the PH runs threads as they do this regularly
