What car £80k
Discussion
Nope doesnt have to be new.
He's currently liking the Masa Grand Turismo.
He prefers a bit of luxury and build quality vs out and out racer performance so that counts out stuff like the GTR and GT Porsches.
612 Fezza nice but hes had a 355 and a 360 before and wants to try something different.

This was his last car ( not the exact one), but very nice indeed...Edited by Red 3 on Saturday 26th November 22:40
RS6 Plus http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3397745.htm I was seriously considering one of these cars before I bought my current car
Basically he is looking gt.
Dong say how old kids are - which is key...
Continental GT Speed
Aston Rapide - and a big haggle
Maserati Granturismo
Aston vanquish if kids are small
Ferrari 612 - try it - drove one 2 weeks back fantastic and a world away from a 360 - 355
After that a Brabus tuned merc CL is an option if you want to blend in and go bonkers fast...

I think the choice is really whether he wants a 2+2 or whether it seems Like a good idea but the kids will never really be in it...
I looked at all these then bought 1 car for me on the basis we already had a car for family duties. Just makes more sense.
If he is set on a 2+2 then the Bentley and the Ferrari will hold some money, a newish Maserati (grancabrio would be my choice unless he plans to take luggage) will lose a chunk when you drive it away.
Can't see the point of buying
a saloon as a special car at that price point. Won't be special in comparison to the options.

Yeah, I love the Audi RS6 and the E63AMG, but for £70k?! No thanks! They're nice, but not special enough for me to warrant that price tag. Mad money for a car that looks not far off a diesel estate costing £15k second hand. I looked at all these then bought 1 car for me on thd basis we already had a car for family duties. Just makes more sense.

Got to be some kind of Ferrari or Maserati for me.
