The "Crap colour combo's" thread

I was in the Merc dealership in Derby this lunchtime picking up some parts (NOT spares, i'll have you know, they are called PARTS!)
Anyway while i was waiting for the suited gentleman to bring me a selection of clinically clean parts, i had a browse around the showroom, as you do......

they have the compulsory silver SLS with red interior (nice)

but parked infront of it was a black, CONVERTABLE SLS - (which immediately defies the point of an SLS) anyway, it was nice, very nice, metallic black, very black, with much carbon and black leather...

with a TAN mohair roof??!!!!!!!!!!!




now annoyingly i didnt get a photo as my Besuited spares person appeared..

but jesus what a CRAP colour combo!!!!!!!!

Sounds OK to me - quite a few MX-5s in that combo.

The winner will be one of the odd 911 colour combos over the years I am sure.

Its not that, so much as they have gone to the trouble of making everything black and/or carbon and then throw a roof on that they obviously found in the rejects bin!......

OK that merc in Prius grellow really IS bad with that interior!!!!

Pray tell, what does that have to do with the price of fish?
Should people buy gold shoes, sick yellow/smurf blue combo Bonkers, or just buy what they like, even if that happens to be silver/grey & black?
