Hi all,

I know it's a really long time in advance, but who's going to Goodwood next year ?

I managed to get a B&B, but still doubting if I would need Grand Stand tickets or so (first time wink ) ?

Who has been there before ? Who will be there in 2012 ?

What's the general idea about it ? I've heard sooooooooo many nice stories about it, so I will be there (+ son + Noble)

you'll love it if you've never been before, it's a real motorsport, car and bike feast! I've been 3 times and still enjoying making the trip down all the way from Newcastle.

Hope to go in 2012 but it clashed with my race calendar this year so will have to wait and see.

my best tip would be get to the motorsport paddock in the first half of the day, often see celebs/drivers. Always fun to make the hike up the hill to see the rally stage in the wood as well.

cheers

James

ENTRY TICKETS NOT INCLUDED £89.00

FRI 29/06/2012 GRANDSTAND ADULT/YOUNG PERSON/CHILD

It's not cheap but definatley get the roaming grandstand tickets. Also take lots of car key rings for your free hospiltality food and drink, don't get ripped off buying sandwiches. The best hospitality we found was Skoda by a mile and none of us own a Skoda, but we are chancers biggrin great weekend. Wear comfy shoes as you will walk miles.

thanx for the tip !

By then I will have a Skoda (wife's new daily driver), so will check @ Skoda stand for sure wink

What is -by programme- the most attractive day ? Might get some grandstand tickets for 1 day, maybe enough (iso for whole weekend)

Thursday/Friday are the best days, Saturday very busy. We always go for the whole weekend, arrive Thursday around lunch time, leave Saturaday around lunch, missing all the traffic. Good fun looking around the car parks, some very interesting metal spotted. Open pit is my favourite especially when Ken Block is in the house yes
