After the sad news about DMS is there any other garages of that pedigree out there or will i have to bite the bullet when the time comes and use my local Stratstone garage.

Thanks

For those of you that live in the Surrey/London surrounding areas, I know that trinity Engineering in Surrey are now servicing modern Astons.

The owner Tim is a nice guy and I believe he is also something to do with the AMOC...

Just a sugestion.....

Those of you in the north, there is Aston Service in Beamish near Chester le Street. I have not yet used their service but their workshops are fully equipped with AM kit and they are AM approved too. Plus I understand that if you get a service there they give you a voucher for a nice meal in the nearby pub smile

Worth a run out just to look at the classics they have on display.

Here is the link.

As above, Chiltern do good work but closer to me are Nicholas Mee if you're a West Londoner. They've done great work on my DB9, Andrew is ex'HWM and really knows his onions.

Plus their place is fun, restoring DB4s and DB5s and there's always someone to give you a tour smile

I hope to be dealing with them extensively in the new year!! Met the guys at Goodwood, very professional and knowledgable. And I got a ride in Ben's car, what a monster smile

For me in Worcestershire it will either be Bamford Rose or possibly SGM in Hartlebury near Kidderminster.

Anyone know about SGM? - the search is not working (again). They have a fixed price menu here

I found a website called supercarhub where you put in your details of which service you require and within a few hours you get various qoutes from all different garages.

What do you all see as the main reasons for not going to the main dealers?

What do you expect from an indie to let them work on your car?

Its something I have been looking into recently as I am taking on the workshop next year and servicing is one of the things I will be doing.

Hi all,

can I suggest a sticky? I was planning on taking my V8V to DMS in January, but it looks as though sadly I'll be searching elsewhere (I'm in Surrey).

Could we put together a list of independents across the UK? I'm sure it would help a lot of us out.
