No spoilers please...

Well, here I am again, same st, different day... Following-on from my thread about the Abu Dhabi GP being absent from iPlayer, tonight I've just settled down to watch the Brazilian GP and found it... err... missing from iPlayer. It was there earlier, now it is gone.

What would Bruce Wyllis say? How can the same st happen to the same guy twice? Can anybody else see the GP on iPlayer? Once again, no spoilers please - I actually want to watch it! Any other, err, sources out there online that anybody knows about?

Thanks. Still getting "Sorry, this programme is not available to watch again" at http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b017pwy7.

There was a power cut at the track after the race during the forum, which may have affected it.

Unsure how that might have affected anything; iPlayer footage is taken from the played-out stream, so if it was broadcast then it was available for recording to iPlayer. Furthermore, at least one other - above - has watched it on iPlayer.

Interestingly, the Forum isn't showing as a 'More episodes' when looking at the Quali stream. The race itself has now dropped off the 'More episodes' list, too, so clearly it has vanished from the database of available streams.

Bah humbug. This is exactly what happened 2 weeks ago - there 1 minute, gone the next. I wouldn't mind if it was delayed in appearing - I can understand how a workflow might exist that allowed that - but for a fully-formed programme to vanish? I've never seen that with any other BBC series - what is it about F1?

Well now I get a half-hearted attempt at showing it, followed by "This content doesn't seem to be working. Try again later." Progress, I guess smile

I watched the race on iplayer finishing about an hour ago, just went on to see if the forum is up too and they have removed the race. Very odd.

And now "Formula 1: 2011: The Brazilian Grand Prix is not available to play yet - we are working on this and we hope to have it here shortly." I do like the fact that the BBC have gone to the trouble of ensuring that the punctuation is reasonable smile This feels like a countdown smile

Hmm, countdown to nothing. The Forum is now available to watch on iPlayer, but still no race, just like last time. This really is very, very annoying.

Regretably not, cuts at the same place, so we will never know what Button wanted to say, nor see how the current BBC team were going to sign off the end of their coverage together.
We will have to wait for the end of season highlights programme (if they do one, hope so , last years was a cracker )

Err, was there really a power cut, or was there some shady BBC chap pulling out a plug to make sure that the team didn't sign-off 'on a high'? smile

According to Jakes tweet 22hrs ago, the forum should be on i-player with an extra goodbye at the end. I just checked it now, & it is still finishing , like live, with JB being cut off 1/2 way through his overtake. Don't know if a little "extra" will be added, so far not.

One could be forgiven for thinking someone at the Beeb actually wanted to feck up the coverage of the last race. A bit strange indeed that 27hrs after the end of the race it hasn't , somehow, been made available to view, particularly, as the highlights & (fecked) forum are.
