Mentioned already on this forum, page 2 http://pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f...
Hardly a restaurant, more of a cafe with sandwiches and some simple stuff. If you stand in front of the train station and look across the road, you will see it down a pedestrian parade. Imposing building painted light blue. Used to be a biggish sports shop.

As the Google search item says, it's Victus, just up from Cafe Rouge. It's an odd place, in my opinion much more suited to a trendy evening bar than day time family food.
We went in about 09.30 one Saturday morning and they had no bread, as their delivery had not turned up. I asked the obvious question, with ASDA about 4 minutes walk away, might it be an idea to just go and buy some to see them over the breakfast/mid-morning rush. The suggestion went straight over the girl's head. Then Louise ordered pancakes with maple syrup or similar, and it came in a box, not a large, flat, easy to eat out of box either, a small deep box impossible to access with a knife and fork - like I said, odd!
Cool place decor wise though, but don't expect it to filled with petrol head artifacts, it isn't.

Restaurant bar & Grill on Parliament Street? I like going to the bar there, but for drinks it isn't that cheap.
It was funny a couple of Saturdays ago when Louise and I were in there standing at the end of the bar having a drink. A small group of about six fairly drunk lads down from the North East rocked up, all looking like wannabe boy band members or footballers - being really cocky with the barman, no please, no thank you, just demanding a load of shots to be lined up along the bar - the picture on the guy's face when the barman calmly said "that'll be £86 please was priceless - certainly took his swagger away as they all had to copper up
