gubbins behind passenger footwell panel

What is it all, and how should it fit? Mine's currently all over the place.

ECU and various control boxes.

I've always used the principal of precariously stacking it all up and then fitting the panel as quickly as possible before it all falls down.

Pretty much this up to now!

But need to get behind the 2nd panel to access the heater matrix soon, so will try and velcro them to the panel in some order instead, and off the floor in case of water ingress if poss.

All car manaufacturers seem to think the best place for an ECU or fuseboard is directly beneath coolant tanks, heater hoses, roof drains - genius.

What's that stuck to the back of the ECU?

Looks like he's somehow hardwired in a cable allowing the computer to be plugged in without removing the ECU faceplate.
