I am about to buy a pair of rear tyres. The size is 225/35 - 17.
There is not much choice in that size, and black circles, my preffered supplier, lists only four:
Yokohama S drive
Falken FK452
Hankook V12 EVO
Yokohama A520
My big priority if best grip. I am not too concerened about how long it lasts, or how much it costs.
The car is a Smart forfour Brabus, so quite light.
Which of the above will give best grip?

I have Falken 452's on the ZT260 at the moment, purchased after reading lots of glowing reports about them online. I find grip in the dry and wet is poor compared to the Avon ZZ3's I had previously.
I'm so unimpressed with them that I wont be refitting them in the spring when the winter wheels & tyres come off, despite having a good 15-20K miles worth of life left in them.
Unfortunately I don't have any experience of the others on your list though, so don't know how they compare the 452's.

I've previously used these websites to help me decide which tyres to buy:-
