Canon 30d - shutter activations

Contemplating selling my 30D to upgrade to a 7D.

If I sell privately I expect I'll be asked how many activations on the shutter. Is there an easy way to find out?

I didn't think you could do it reliably on cameras without the Digic 3 chip...
