Chap has been out to repair my windscreen and he said something to me which was difficult to listen to without grinning:

‘Just so you know, whilst I repair the screen I’ll be applying pressure to the crack. This may make it bigger’.

Sorry, but it made me giggle. Anyhow, may need to get my coat with this one.

Watching one of those 'TV Mistakes' type programs a few years ago, a news reader mistakenly read out the words 'hyperdermic needle' as 'hyperdeemic nerdle' (a spoonerism?).

This has had me laughing for about 5 years, and I haven't stopped yet.
