I need to get the chassis ordered for my Land Rover 90 restoration but not sure if i should go with a Richards Chassis or a Marshlands Chassis?

Does anyone have some experience of either?

Many Thanks,

I am in the process of inspecting mine to see if it needs a new chassis. If it does, I will go for Marsland as they work out about £250 cheaper. I have been to their workshop and the chassis look as good as any other. Richards also charge an extra £50 + VAT for the gearbox cross member. Also, they are available off the shelf whereas Richards were giving me a story about 'you'd better order one quickly as there's a 6 week lead time'.

How did you manage to get the bolts out which connect the seat box at the inner seatbelt mounting to the box section which runs to the top of the chassis? Mine have rounded off and I don't think an angle grinder will fit in!!

Just noticed that Richards have reduced their prices to within £5 of Marslands. Still have to pay £49 for the cross member though smile

A friend of mine bought one from Richards and said everything was spot on and had no major problems fitting it,just the usual landy faults but chassis was spot on.
