What we always do. Call in their Ambassador for a dressing down and then expect ours to be similarly dressed down in Iran. Meanwhile their state media will deny it/downplay it/criticise our exaggerated response.

Its now turned into a hostage situation.

What will we do? Probably send them a stongly worded email. This has the fingerprints of the Iranian gov't written all over it although no doubt they'll blame it on 'non state actors' or something.

Exactly.

What do we reckon? Play it out through emails and speeches? Or, do we think the chaps over at Hereford will be getting kitted up already..

You would have to be mental beyond measure to consider sending troops into Iran.

I think we should demonstrate outside the embassy here and quietly mumble something. In an orderly fashion.

They were Delta and they are much much better these days.

Anyway wasn't their fault. They were flying the long route across a desert, sand and engines don't really mix very well and so no matter how well trained the troops were they would have ended up at the mercy of their helicopters.

That and the sad state of morale and kit under that idiot Carter.

Look at that fine effort being made by the Iranian Police to prevent the "rioters" who obviously have nothing whatsoever to do with the Iranian government from getting through:

Did I miss something? What did you imperialist bastids go and do to warrant all of this? Did a drunk Manchester girl on holiday squat and pee on the spot where the prophet's camel suppossedly shat?
