I quite fancy an MGB (don't laugh).
I would like to go and buy one, stick it in my trailer and drag it back home. Instead of finding any nasty surprises on my way back.

But I'm not sure if it will fit in my enclosed trailer.

So can anybody give me some rough dimensions for a roadster please? Just length and width will do me.

I know a D-type will fit and so will a lotus 23b, model T and so on. But a lola t70 needs to have its body removed first, and a 20hp Rolls-Royce won't go anywhere near it.

What a useful site for the basic dimensions etc
Having a narrow garage now, where even working on the wifes 306 will be a chore too far, never mind the Volvo, I can see that an MGB is around 4" narrower a TR6 narrowe still and a TR4 even narrower again
Can anyone confirm its accuracy?

I always use Carfolio when considering a new Classic. My garage is too small to comfortably work on most things with no space to extend.

3.89 m long or 153.19 inches. 1.52.24 m wide or just a tiny tad under 6' wide.
