Radical idea here. Look in your owners manual. It will most likely be in the glovebox of your car. There will be a graph telling you what the tyre pressures should be for different loads in the car. Choose one to suit.
Sadly its not in the car its at home and I'm about to set off on a 150 mile trip.McSam said:
You're on the internet?! Google it. There will be some reliable information somewhere.
Failing that, a lot of German stuff has a chart inside the fuel filler flap, at least, they certainly used to.
Failing all of this, if it feels OK, do carry on.
The chart may be on one of the door pillars or on the end of the door near the lock as well.Failing that, a lot of German stuff has a chart inside the fuel filler flap, at least, they certainly used to.

Just going to double check my tyre presure - when my tyres were chaged at Costco they recommended 39 PSI front and 41 PSI Rear. (non run flats)
I have just looked at the Kwik Fit tyre pressure recommendations and the rears are the same but the fronts are recommended tobe 31 PSI.....

95% of the time it is only me in the car and I'd say about 70-75% of my time is M way or dual carridgeway.I like a very pointy drive - and I guess due to the kind of driving I'm doing they tyres seem to last quite a lot of miles as they are simply rolling in more or less a straight road with little sideways wear.
Traction control is always on - but on slippery junctions there is sometimes opposite lock.
