Coolent sensor thread

Does any one know the coolant sensor thread size and type?, i'm making some water pipes and will need to drill and tap the bosses for the pipes.

Which sensor? If it's the dash gauge then it will be easier just to cut the old one out and re-weld it in as it has machining detail on it from memory to seal the gauge bulb.

The ecu sensor and the capillary one. The pipe has two bosses welded two it and I'm going to make the bosses up on the lathe to be tig welded into the pipes.

I'm guessing at NPT threads just size. One of the bosses is 16mm so would make it 5/8th which sounds right for Npt thread?
