After recovering from Stainless dropping the SEAC down into third ( ? ) on the motorway and dissapearing into the distance ( could have ad you Steve but the missus held me back !

Cruising along in middle lane. Loads of traffic on inside. Just passed a Mondeo when suddenly engine coughs and dies totally ! Had to dive onto the hard shoulder ( sorry mondeo driver !! ). Turns out lead from dizzy to coil had worked itself off. Glad it was just that but it was a bit scary. Happened that fast that even missus did not have time to complain. Don't think she even noticed the mondeao we nearly totaled !

Glad its ok. This happened to me once, thankfully near to home. The lead on the dizzy must of been a bit loose and sparks had been arking across for a couple of miles - gradually burnt through the whole end of the lead! Now I always check the coil and dizzylead connections before a trip.
