Hub uprights

While i have been working on the car recently i have noticed the rear uprights are dented?.Is it common practice to hammer these for certain jobs,i cant see why and it does throw up concerns as the car has only ever been looked after by tvr garages.Dont get me wrong its not the end of the world but who would hammer a powder coated finish....to the point where it has taken powder coat off.As you all know i have OCD so am thinking about replacing the uprights if i cant get the dents out...or should i just fill em

Pretty bad i think,every one has damage on it.its more an area on each one that has concaved in.cant say wether the damage was there when i bought the car or since.the wishbones etc are very dirty so the marks really show as it has broken the powder coat.
