It makes sense to buy food when we get there instead of hauling it down with us, so are there any supermarkets nearby we can hit after the tent etc has been pitched?

Pref ones that have a cold alcohol section

what you mean, the bar SHUTS, that warrants a partial refund. it's not like le Mans, 24 hour drinking, bu##er. alternative arrangements are sought.
