Do they really charge for 56K dial up internet access? I thought access was free and one just paid for calls?

I think you'll find the calls are free but you pay a subscription.

Depends how you access it I think - you can either pay a subscription and have free calls or have no subscription and pay a local rate.

My folks are paying both. £18 per quarter for access + £18 pq for unlimited internet usage evening and weekends. Surely thats not right?
