Do Eibach springs on the MX5 sport tech compromise ride?

Which model? The MK3 is supposed to be better with the optional Eibach springs I believe....
I've also read that. Not actually driven one in anger with the lowering kit, but have heard they make it feel much better. WIM wheel alignment afterwards too for even bigger smiles.
Mine is fine. Yes you know you've got stiffer springs on but they don't make the ride harsh or crashy. What they do make the car feel is more planted wiht less roll. Turn in is better and I feel I can get back on the power sooner coming out of the corner, it's more fun to drive. Looks alot better too. Just make sure you get the geo set up.
There are two options I believe that drop the car 25mm or 40mm (I think..), had the milder of these fitted to the wifes 2.0 Sport by Gugliemi's together with some tweaks to the geometry. Result.. a transformation and the car noi linger feels like it is on tiptoe. Apart from a few more incidents of grounding on rough terrain I dont find the ride compromised.
