80mm pipe

Hello anyone got a short piece of 80mm pipe to join the intake pipe to the smooth bore elbow .i can only find aluminuim but i need to drill and weld a nut on for the air temp sensor .The plastic pipe i used has disintergrated. cheers I need about 100mm .,think 80mm od i the right size.

Yes they do look nice but how do i fit the 3/8 npt socket..? Its alloy
I have a choice of 80mm OD or 83mm OD ..Im wondering if 83mm will go inside the ACT induction kit .

daz if you use silicone drill a much smaller hole than needed for the air temp sensor, then a LITTLE bit of silicone around the thread and screw it in

I would do it properly e.g. get a piece of alloy pipe, weld a solid piece on by a local welding company (a drink should cover it) then drill and tap it for the sensor job done only going to cost you a few quid. Could be stainless either whatever you can find.

Thats how I did mine and its never going to fail and does not look a bodge.

If i went for alloy do i need 80 or 83mm OD..Im sure i have seen them in your office Rob..ok caravan.

Im sure it was 3" from memory, I think I may have some left over at home I will have a look tonight I can always post you a piece out in exchange for some of your dance lessons
