Afternoon chaps,
Well the Griff has been laid up for about 9 months and received very little attention.
Has been started and moved around the courtyard every now and then but thats about it.

Went to take it for a blast this afternoon to blow away the cobwebs and get it ready for the bodyshop to take it away for a respray and the thing is stone dead.
Connected the jump leads and after a few mins it fired up.
Removed the jump leads and it died, it wont even attempt to turn over.
Connected leads and it only turns over and wont fire up now.
Also can hear a whine from the passenger footwell.

Any ideas?
I'm a mechanical numpty so go easy and don't use to technical terms!!

Do the headlights work? If not, it's likely to be a dead-flat battery. Sometimes dead batteries won't re-charge but worth a try.

Good luck.
