Oulton Park 3rd December
Discussion
It looked like it was going to be a busy congested day to start with but there was very little queuing, sadly a few red flags (including some muppet with no towing eye in which wasted 10-15 minutes of everyone's time
) but not bad for the time of year and thankfully no crashes AFAIK.
We were in one of the slowest cars (silver E30 325i) depending who was driving it (a few friends with varying ability), which was a real handful when it was very greasy early on but luckily everyone managed to keep it on the black stuff, and my silver 993 which only did short sessions due to standard brakes and tyres (which I'd overheat if I did more than 3 or 4 quick laps).
Sorry if anyone in the BMW got in the way.
Track conditions became good but it was bloody cold & windy when not in the car - so glad we had a garage and a kettle.
A guy I know took quite a few pictures that he's put on Facebook - I don't if this link will work, but the photos are here (my car's the first picture):

Nice vids. Elise sounds great - what exhaust do you have?
Your closing speeds on most people were quite impressive!
Thanks Snorkel, it's a larini, had it a while but still sounds well. With regards to catching others, I'd say it was a little deceptive as I'm pretty green on track and that the majority were likely on warm up/down laps.Your closing speeds on most people were quite impressive!
