Love an r34! Always have and found this here on ph:

£20k for a seriously damaged car - then read further and it hasn't even got an engine or gearbox.
Why would anyone buy that?
Fair enough it is a v-spec gtr but still way ott isn't it?

It's in the netherlands though, and iirc, import taxes there are very high, so it's probably acceptable for their market. Having said that, I wouldn't be tempted myself
It's an opportunity for someone to buy a car and fix it with dodgy parts IMO. Or possibly to just transfer it's identity.
As previously said once you add the luxury tax and VAT onto the price of Dutch cars they are prohibitively expensive.

What difference would German papers make?
They are extraordinarily difficult and expensive to get, especially for grey imports. I imagine this car is actually priced at the approximate cost of getting an R34 TUV'd, so you could just swap the ID tags onto a new one. That's illegal of course and I would never condone it.
