Sorry to be annoying. I know you guys know a lot more than me, so thought I'd see if any of you were willing to impart your knowledge. Have spoken to the seller and he claims it's a cat c... And sadly I'm the highest bidder frown.

Just to clarify, I didnt know it was cat c when I bidded. My bad.

It makes no mention it was a Cat C in the description. Surely you can claim it wasn't sold as advertised?

OK - how do I go about doing that? Because I'm not really into ebay that much, and I didn't think you had to declare cat C unless asked. Sadly, I only asked once he messaged me offering a buy it now price...

Just withdraw your bid. Not as advertised.

Click where it say "Report Item"...

...select "Motorvehicle related"...

...select "Banned items other" and write in the comments section...

"Seller has failed to mention the vehicle has been a write off. Misleadingly advertised."

Job done.

Item description does not mention it has been damaged OR It is on the Vcar..
You should check this first, or I would get the seller to do it for the benefit of any interested parties.

As has been said before, remove yr bid if you are unsure !

Up to you, you can email before hand and ask if it has been damaged and if seller says no you can say no thanks it wasn't advertised as cat c or if they do tell you then say no thanks it wasn't advertised as cat c when you bid.

Not sure how to remove a bid myself on ebay, can you?

Yes. I have removed the bid. I asked some questions when he offered me a buy it now price... I was then informed it had been in a minor accident when new. This kind of st me up... Because how does a minor accident write off a basically brand new pick up???

And has it been bodged, repaired with stolen parts, done to a high enough standard etc...

Chances are the answers are no, no and yes but why not declare it when advertising unless you're trying to hide it?

Report it to eBay so nobody falls into a possible trap.
