Snowing here in Riddlesden, they didn't forecast that, good job I've got my winters on!

Here too (Chapel Allerton, Leeds). Quite a lot coming down but way too wet for any of it to settle and stay. I love the snow. Winter tyres takes the challenge away!

Got a dusting here in Morley (Leeds). Hasn't melted yet either, but don't expect it to last much past dawn.

Plentyof snow lying up poole bank at 4.50am this morning and a Morrisons wagon stuck will cause choas later if it can't get moving. Be safe people.

Roads around Skipton a nightmare. No gritting done last night in spite of Met Office warning, A59 a bit of a handfull until Ilkley...

I agree, I was out at 6.15am today and the roads were slushy and slippery. Bearing in mind it was forcast and we actually had very little snow I think it's very poor form for the roads to be in such a state.

I've been over to Buxton this morning.. Few artics stuck on the big hill on the A6, managed to keep momentum and slalom through! Diff lock's rock.

None round Garforth but really icy and no sign of grit on the roads at all. Think it's an absolute joke how much warning and forecast do they need?!

Winters all well and good but if someones stuck without them a mile up the road they you're going nowhere!!

Gritters out now on the A59 and A65.

I picked a terrible day to:

A) book Range Rover in to have boot seal replaced
B) book wife's Golf in for service and winter tyres on

We are in a one litre VW Lupo courtesy car for the day which is shod in 2mm Nankangs.

Ahhh god bless the north and the weather system

Not a single flake of snow down here in Northampton and I'm kinda hoping it stays clear down this way and clears up that way for when I return with the family at the end of the month.
