I use the a bizarre unit measure that has a sliding scale so that it always equals 70mph

149 bm's is I believe possibly achieved or may not have been had I been there which I wasn't

I am waiting for a long straight on a track that likes loud exhausts to go faster.

(Got the G33 up to 151mph (satnav) on the autobahn, roof off too smile

163 mph within 31.5 seconds from a standing start at Fighting Torque 2009.

Still pulling like a train smile

186 speed units and still going and felt solid as a rock. Snapped the front splitter in half in the process though which was a worry at the time.

174 with the roof off and still felt really solid and stable. And this is being used to driving a big merc on autobahns at 150+.

Did 140mph in my Mk1 on the autobahn but was getting light at the front.
Got my first Chimaera up to a clocked 155mph again autobahn.
My Mk2 was very scary at 120mph and not had a chance to try again since the latest suspension work.
Long live the autobahn.

174mph on the main runway at an airfield track day, with the roof off. Twitchy bum time as it hardly felt very stable but it was a straight line, wide, smooth road surface and not a lot of traffic. Was still pulling but I had to back off for a chicane.

149 down the backstraight at bedford.

Felt really stable tbh.

Those saying the car didn't feel that stable: did you have a front splitter or not?

Hi,

Did 174 mph at Bruntington airfield on a ride drive weekend. Loads left in the tank, great experience

Digital speedo indicated 182 at Elvington airfield. No idea what that would really be.

165 at Bruntingthorpe Mk 1 (Red Rose), no splitter. Still accelerating well but was more concerned for my brakes and that right hander at the end.

203mph, GPS verified, in Germany.

483hp and 420lbs ft from the supercharged S6 did help getting there, but it felt light as a (very thin) feather at the front...

Just standard size nutcase format, I guess wink

On a side note: took the Camaro to Germany last weekend, and floored that too. Was a bit surprised to see the limiter kick in at 164mph. It's supposed, with the optional Brembos and Bilstein suspension to be limited at 190mph... Waiting for SLP's answer to fix this, I want to see that 3 (190mph = 305kph) on the HUD :-D Complete difference to the Tuscan though, it felt very stable at it's current limit.

165mph speedo indicated in the tuscan on a 'private' road in france. it was horrible!
mk1 redrose with nitrons
it felt like the if you made any input into the controls, even easing off the accelerator, it would crash! luckily i didn't have to brake and could just coast down.
unluckily the process melted the cylinder block between cyl 5&6 resulting in a bleed between the cylinder and a very expensive coffee table!

Z4MC at indicated 175mph at RAF cottesmore, felt very stable full throttle to full brakes, no problems
