Nice to see the most important part of this is highlighted - so I went to have a look in your profile. Cheers, you moody b

Agreed, OP is clearly a t

t of the highest order, and asking how to choose wiper blades is just pathetic.
I have said something to annoy you.
That is the only reason you would be looking at a Nissian Mirca.
No doudt you will see the Mirca and declare me to be an idiot as your car is better then mine.
You are still a t

Standard Bosch ones have the same problem - mine don't actually clear the middle of the screen until they're warmed up enough to melt the ice on them.
I found this too. It wasn't the rubber but the joints on the body of the wiper that froze (they fit quite tightly together so the small gaps draw water in which freezes as you drive along). Bloody irritating. Mr2Mike said:

I'm probably alone on this one but I've never found any aftermarket wipers to be as good as the OE ones in terms of effectivity or lifespan - admittedly they are always 50% of the price of the OEM items.
I cannot believe this is the case because I'm sure manufacturers don't make their own wipers and buy them in from suppliers but going by my experiences there must be some difference between them - surely?
Alternatively I've never found a good aftermarket brand that does work as well as OE (I've tried a few inc bosch)
