Footballers and tattoos

.....Is it just me or are footballer becoming obsessed with tattoos especially these 'sleeve' style tattoos?

Might get into the Tattoo business......

Or the tattoo removal business....

It's due to them coming from/mixing with a particular social class. They are just doing what many would do if they had the money whether it's cars or skin. (Either that or they're into the "alternative" scene but I can't see it meself.)

It probably does however I watch a lot of football and it appears that footballers (even since last season) have all adopted this new style of tattoo and it's prevalent amongst players.

Just an observation, one that hasn't really been seen anywhere else.
