What motor sports are you looking forward to next year?
Discussion
I am looking forward to watching the Dakar in January.
These something special about the Dakar rally that is hard to explain. It just fun, yes it hard racing across car destroying roads and deserts, but it seem to have a sense of fun. I remember the fist year Colin Mcrae (still sadly missed) enter in a Toyota. He smiled a lot, even after three day in the desert with a broken car. Rob Gordon in his two wheeled drive Hummer has been exciting for the last few years. I hope one day to enter, I don't know what in or when but I want to.
What motor sports are you looking forward to 2012? And why?

NHRA Winternationals in Pomona
DTM at Brands
Main Event at Santa Pod
WEC at Silverstone
F1 at Spa
European Finals at Santa Pod
And no doubt Goodwood will come up with another good excuse for me to visit the Festival of Speed again.
Well thats the basis of the grand plan at the moment. We'll see how it goes, the first one is a dead cert at the moment.

Gives me goose bumps every year, its fSpecifically that feeling at 15:59 as they roll around the Ford chicane side by side

king epic when you see the headlights making their way upto the chicane there is such a buzz in the stands, you get the feeling something very special is about to start. Its the same every year for 11 years now! intrepid44 said:
I'm looking forward to doing the BUKC again next year, this time hopefully with a win, came so close at the last event!
I did my first few BUKC events last year, very good fun! Our A team won the championship as well.I'm looking forward to competing in the 2012 HSA Speed Championship, for which the dates have been released:

Oh and keeping an eye on the British Hillclimb championship too, could this been the year that bike engined cars seriously trouble the big boys? Will Scott Moran retain the title or could Wallace or Trevor steal it?
EDIT: And I should probably look forward to the F1 too, although that seems to be coming too quickly!

I take it you go to Bath then, I think they'll have some tough competition from Brookes this year. My team's pretty inexperienced mostly hire kart drivers and completely new drivers, but we managed to scrape through the qualifying... just. I'm looking to get a win at Teesside in Febuary though, think I'll be able to do it if I don't get banditoed off into the grass.I'm looking forward to competing in the 2012 HSA Speed Championship, for which the dates have been released:
