Headlight reflectors

I seem to remember there being a guide on here somewhere on how to change the (standard) headlight reflectors but I can't find it - any pointers please? Is access through the wheel arch or fron the front? are the painted trims just glued on? Also can anyone recommend bulbs that are better than standard - I don't drive that much at night so can't be bothered going the HID route. Thanks

Access is through a panel in the wheel arch. Unless you have treble jointed elbows, you will want to remove the wheel to get at it. The painted trims are held on with wing nuts from inside the wing. The reflector unclips from the adjusters and is then removed from the front.

I thought the standard ones were nearly impossible to find now and that people were even getting them refurbed now?

There are 4 studs on the Cerb cowel. A royal PITA to unfasten.

Thanks all - they're not difficult to find - most TVR parts suppliers have them - they're just damm expensive!
