5th Gear Car

My very first post, so Hello to you all reading.

I have recently discovered that my car was featured in Episode 13.1 of 5th Gear back in 2008. After filming is was transported to Renault Sport's factory in Dieppe where it was given a full engine service.

So my all important question is and I'm pretty sure I know the answer already, but will it be worth anymore money than book price at the moment?

All ideas and any offes welcome, which will be considered as looking to replace it before or just after Christmas.

It's an ex press car?

It may be worth more in years to come when the majority of its contempories are no longer around and it's history is a nice talking point.

At the moment, best case scenario is that it's worth the same. More reaslistically, it may put some people off.

FWIW my Lotus is ex press and hasn't put a foot wrong in 10 years. I've also worked with press cars from Ford and Volvo and they're meticulous in their servicing and general treatment in every way you could think of any many you probably couldn't.

Have sold a couple of JK's cars and one of Jezza's; makes a grand total of naff all difference.

Didn't realistically expect it to be worth anymore than book to be honest. But good to get some grounding advice ha.

Unfortunately it was only Jason Plato driving, for me he doesn't have the same appeal as Vicky!

Even book is difficult for RS Clios; there are a million of them for sale and performance stuff is getting trickier to shift.

Might be to someone who has a 5th gear fettish or on seat sniffing potential for anyone who has the hots for VBH,apart from that i would say it is worth less after those numpties have had their hands on it!
