Hi,
The GTA got thru it's MOT with the following advisory.
1) Nearside rear Macpherson strut has slight movement at the upper attachment.
2) Offside rear Macpherson strut has slight movement in the upper support bearing assembly.
One other thing, the offside rear tyre is a bit warped, coincidence or related to the above?
Not being a mechanical whizz kid I'd appreciate any comments or advice.

Tyre wear is related to the above.
Get 2 new rear trailing arms (the struts they are on about and proper ones not copies)

Hi, thanks for that. Yes, I've owned the GTA since April this year. I've driven Alfa's since 1993. I've never been interested in working on cars but I do look after them well. I see you're in Edinburgh. Do you use Stewart McLennan in Loanhead?

Yes I use Stewart all the time and so does anyone else I know in East Scotland. Best Indie I've come across in the whole of the UK for Alfas
