ARB, which way up?

Hi all,

Went to fit the anti roll bar to car today and realised that it is the one area that I did n't photograph extensively before I removed it. Which way up should it go? Mine is a 22mm thick bar and the ends which the drop links attach to point away from the horizontal. This means that I can either fit it so the middle portion is parallel to the sump but the drop link attachment points aim upward slightly OR I can fit it so the middle is parallel to the sump but the drop link attachment points aim downwards slightly.

Any advice would be appreciated.

looking at mine I would say point down. this then keeps the anti-roll bar "arched up" well clear of the lower wishbone, up the other way it would tend to dip down and very nearly touch.

Have you tried the search? sure this ones cropped up before.

Thanks. I have lost faith in the search facility, due to it being down so often, so I try it a lot less than I used to.
