I hope that woman's children saw this video.

That way they will strive to emulate the guy and not follow their dimwit mother.

Does she have any idea how much tax revenue this guy generates even WITHOUT his personal income tax.

Excellent post BTW.

Shriff is a doomsday gold salesman.
Although it appears he has branched out a littlesmile he is now offering European stocks!

But be your own judge, he is convinced the US market is going into a depression (that's a whole lot worse than Double dip) but he is against shorting, just buy gold from mebiggrin (that's him not me)

I think I'll take GE at 16 over gold at 1700.

Surely he doesn't employ anyone unless he owns the company? Isn't a CEO also an employee appointed by the board?

Sounds like a smaller firm in the big bucks business - he said he employs 150 people.

I won't watch it because the angry campers would just confirm what I already think of them.

Almost. EricMC will be along shortly to correct you. But you're right in that someone who is director of even a one man Limited Company in England is not "self-employed" as so many people think.

confused If they are actually directors of companies then they are not self-employed. Or was your "self-employed" bit a reference to them lying about being directors? Of course, they may have other going concerns that are not incorporated so could be self-employed and directors.

A directorship is an office not an employment. So it is entirely possible to be a company director and self-employed.

But if your sole income is via the Ltd Company of which you're the director, are you considered self-employed? I thought you were not.
