How many of you have before or plan to sort everything out last minute?

I have university exams (last set hopefully) that could last until the 19th and the actual exam dates aren't usually released until 1-2 months before.

Going last year while I was on placement really reignited the bug for me after 3 years not being able to go, it also converted one of my friends from just being an F1 fan smile

How do the prices of people selling spares by the gates compare to here or fleabay just before?

I dont think you will find anyone selling by the gates, except for the ACO ticket booth selling General entry tickets, I certainly have not seen anyone touting tickets I would have thought most people would get rid of camping tickets on ebay/pistonheads/beearmountain/club arnage sites before the event,

Or on arrival at Le Mans in June go to (Accueil Général) reception desk (situated opposite north entrance of the circuit, at the exhibition centre (Centre des Expos du Mans), you should easily get a camping ticket for beausejour its The round building.

Here is the Building for tickets, If you have ordered Camping/Gen entry/Grandstand tickets for collection at the circuit this is where you need to go to collect them. you should also be able to buy camping tickets here.

We've sold spares outside the gates on a Saturday morning before, always for a fair bit below face value, never seen anyone else around doing it though

I've been to Le Mans every year since 2000, often a last minute effort. I've never had any problems though you'll probably have to be flexible on your choice of ferry crossing, grandstand and accommodation. The ACO never sells out of the important stuff, general entry and parking.

I tend to stay at a local campsite which is never fully booked, though it gets busier each year. Can't comment on camping at the track. Last year's booking was with a fortnight to go and IMHO adds to the excitement.

My lad has twice decided on the Friday to go with a carload of mates and has never had any problems whatsoever

Last year was the only year I'd planned to go as I knew for definite I wouldn’t have exams. Before that in 2006 & 2004, I'd stepped in last minute when people dropped out of my dad’s group. Hopefully 2 people drop out so me and my mate can go

Not sure I could camp off circuit after having this pitch at Maison Blanche last year smile
